Plastpack manufactures custom printed plastic bags for businesses that want their brand on the packaging their customers carry, open and keep. We print in-house on film we extrude ourselves, so plastic bag printing is not a job we send out. That means you deal with the manufacturer directly, and the print, the film and the bag are all controlled under one roof at our Sydney facility.
Up to Six-Colour Printing In-House
We print up to six colours on film, flat-web, at our own factory. That covers logos, brand colours, product information, handling instructions, barcodes, warning markings and compliance text. Because the printing happens at the same site as the extrusion and bag forming, we control registration and colour consistency from one run to the next, and there is no third party adding time to your lead time. How the Printing Process Works
Send us your artwork and tell us the bag type, size, thickness, colours and quantity. Our team will advise on how the design will sit on the bag, what will reproduce well on film and where to place text so it stays readable when the bag is filled. Once the design is approved, we extrude the film, print it, form the bags, quality check the run and dispatch. You can order a sample to evaluate the film and print before committing to a full run.
Design and Artwork Support
Not every business has print-ready artwork. We provide design and product assistance through the ordering process, so if your logo needs adjusting to print cleanly on film, or you are unsure how many colours the design really needs, our team will work it through with you before the run starts.

Why Print With the Manufacturer
Most suppliers offering printed plastic bags do not print. They take your order, send the job to a printer, and add their margin and their lead time on top. Plastpack extrudes the film, prints it and forms the bag at the same facility. That means fewer parties, tighter colour consistency batch to batch, and a shorter turnaround. We hold around 50 tonnes of film at our factory, so the material for your printed bags is usually already in stock. Minimum quantities apply to custom printed runs, and our team will tell you the minimum for the bag type you need before you commit.
