Frequently Asked Questions
What size bin liner fits a 240L wheelie bin?
A liner around 1000mm wide by 1500mm long fits a standard 240L wheelie bin with enough length to fold over the rim and stay in place. The same size lines a 240 litre drum with a snug fit that stops slippage during filling.
What is the difference between a drum liner and a bin liner?
They are the same style of bag put to different work. A drum liner protects the drum and keeps batches separated, while a bin liner contains waste for removal. Our 240L liners are sized to do both jobs, which is why one carton covers drums and wheelie bins.
How thick should heavy duty bin bags be?
Most bags sold as heavy duty are 30 to 40 micron. For loads that split those bags, start at 50 micron and move to 75 micron for wet commercial waste. Sharp or abrasive industrial waste needs 100 to 150 micron for reliable puncture resistance.
What thickness do I need for an industrial dust extractor?
Specify 100 micron for dust extraction units. The bag in an extractor is compressed and dragged under load, so it needs genuine tear and puncture resistance. For very abrasive or heavy extraction waste, step up to the 150 micron grade.
Are these liners suitable for food processing?
Yes. A fresh liner between batches prevents cross-contamination without washing drums between runs, which is why food, pharmaceutical and chemical processors use them as standard. Talk to our team about your handling requirements and we will confirm the right grade.
Can I buy 240L bin liners in bulk across Australia?
Yes. Liners are packed 100 per sleeve and supplied in commercial quantities with delivery Australia wide from our Sydney factory. Standing orders are available for sites that reorder on a cycle, and custom sizes and thicknesses are made to order.
