Plastpack (formerly known as Churchill & Coombes) manufactures mattress bags at our Sydney facility for removalists, self-storage operators, mattress manufacturers, furniture retailers and commercial cleaners across Australia. A mattress bag keeps dust, moisture, dirt and pests off the mattress through transport and storage, which protects the product and keeps it saleable or ready to redeliver. We stock five sizes from single through to king in clear film, with the larger sizes made with a side gusset and heavier 120 micron film. Because we extrude our own film and form the bags in house, we can also make mattress bags to your exact dimension and gauge.
Mattress Bag Sizes
Our range covers the standard Australian mattress sizes. The single and double bags run 75 to 80 micron, while the deeper double, queen and king bags step up to 120 micron with a side gusset to take the extra depth of a pillow-top or thicker mattress.
Bags are supplied on the roll, excluding GST. Micron equals one thousandth of a millimetre. If you need a size outside this range, such as extra-length or a specialty mattress, we manufacture to your measurements.
