Frequently Asked Questions
What is silage wrap used for?
Silage wrap seals baled pasture and forage in airtight conditions so it ferments instead of spoiling. This preserves the feed value of the forage for livestock feeding through storage.
Why is silage wrap different colours?
White reflects heat and keeps bales cooler in the sun. Tinted colours such as light blue and pink are used for visibility, with pink also supporting breast cancer awareness. The airtight, UV-stable seal is the same across colours.
Is the wrap UV-resistant?
Yes. Silage wrap is UV-stabilised so it withstands sunlight and weather through months of outdoor storage without breaking down before the silage is fed out.
Can you supply silage wrap to suit my bales?
Yes. Tell us your bale size and how you store, and we will confirm the wrap that suits. Send us your requirement and we will confirm the specification and availability.
Can I order silage wrap in bulk across Australia?
Yes. Silage wrap is supplied in commercial quantities with delivery Australia wide from our Sydney facility. Standing orders can be arranged through the wrapping season so supply is ready at baling time.
